'The Bad Man' Wins Best Horror Feature at Nightmares Film Festival!
'The Bad Man' held its world premiere screening in Columbus, OH, at the Nightmares Film Festival on Friday, October 19th, 2018, where it won the award for Best Horror Feature Film! Now in its third year, the Nightmares Film Festival has already become a top genre festival with a mission to bring audiences "#BetterHorror" and to become the 'Cannes of Horror' for genre filmmakers. The festival is held at the stately Gateway Film Center. Members of the cast & crew were in attendance.
'The Bad Man' is the fourth directorial effort from Scott Schirmer (Found, Harvest Lake, Plank Face), and stars Ellie Church, Arthur Cullipher, and Jason Crowe in a harrowing story of survival. Church and Crowe play Mary and PJ, a young couple who are kidnapped and tortured by a sadistic clown (Cullipher) bent on transforming them into a ‘doll’ and a ‘dog’ - servile sex slaves that will be sold to the highest bidders. When PJ goes mad, Mary becomes the couple’s only hope of survival. But can she find a way out before auction day arrives?
