'The Bad Man' Coming This Fall!

Scott Schirmer just completed production on his fourth directorial effort, The Bad Man. Two-thirds of the film was shot on location in Columbiaville, Michigan, in January and the production wrapped at locations across Indiana in early June. 

The Bad Man stars Ellie Church, Arthur Cullipher, and Jason Crowe in a harrowing story of survival. A young couple, Mary and PJ, are kidnapped in their own home by a sadistic clown who wants to break their spirits and sell them into servitude to a cult of deviants. Mary holds onto her humanity through trial after trial, desperately looking for a way to escape her torment and rescue PJ from his own madness. But time is running out... and auction day is at hand! Dave Parker, Brian Papandrea, David Hancock, Alyss Winkler, and Kevin Roach also star.

The film is now in post-production with a tentative world premiere scheduled for October. Kickstarter backers of the movie will receive their copies in September and the film will be available for sale at scottschirmer.com in November.
